…About The Wait
by Elizabeth Blair York | November 30th, 2007For the past few weeks, the ‘Ask Elizabeth‘ column has had an influx of emails with the same question: when will the X54 Pro deliver on the early orders?
This is the question that I bring to the management at MoGo. They, in turn, pass to me whatever information they have as they work to facilitate fulfillment between the production and the retailers.
The bottom line? The incredible package of features on the new X54 products has spurred an overwhelming response.
As someone who’s just had a week of using one, though, I can say… it’s worth the wait.

My order with Tiger Direct was placed on August 22nd roughly 100 days ago!
The last communication I had from them was on October 22nd, when they said “we expect to be able to ship your order within 30 days or sooner.” I received no update from them on 11/22, the 90-day anniversary of the order ……. I think maybe they’ve given up.
I’m about to join them.

I received an email from newton saying that tiger direct has them…I called Tiger and they tell me that they don’t (this was monday).

So, it is now Thursday… Still no update on my X54Pro. I guess I’m not holding my breath anymore. I am going to consider my purchase like a rebate. One day when I have moved on and forgotten about this mouse, it will be on my doorstep.
