It seems the X54 mice (both versions) coming out DO have a middle button (or, as stated in the pictures, "Center Button"). I was really looking forward to it and you scared me for a moment when you said they don't have 3 buttons, but the images clearly state that the light on the pro version and the play/pause on the regular version act as center buttons when in mouse mode. And of course they do have a scroll wheel. Good thing too, as a scroll wheel is an absolute requirement for me.
