The value of the dollar being so low makes imported items more expensive. They will have a long 8-10 lifespan so you should be able to get your hands on a used one with a lot of life left in a few years. There won't be many mind you because our experience has shown that the owners keep them unless they upgrade to a new model or move. I am planning to get one someday for my own parents but my 83 year old father still insists on mowing the lawn himself. I must say that he is blessed in that he still can.
